Dating to me means 1. doing something you don't want to do 2. with somebody you probably don't want to do it with while 3. forcing yourself into a million awkward conversations about things you don't want to talk about and 4. all the while pretend to care and 5. laughing socially at 6. jokes that aren't funny. They're NEVER funny.
This is dating generally, not just in Provo or at BYU or with Mormons. Dating is a horrible thing.
Now add sheltered kids who think holding hands = getting married and are only comfortable with the topics of 1. Disney movies, 2. Disney pop stars and 3. Your major, your family, oh, and 4. sports, a topic about which I couldn't care less, it's just a waste of time.
